One thing worth mentioning here is that you will need to ensure proper dental hygiene with the braces on. The brackets and metal wire might make it difficult to properly brush or floss. You can get a toothbrush with soft bristles for cleaning. Extend your brushing time to ensure proper cleaning. You can use water floss to clean interdental areas of your teeth because traditional floss may not work well with the braces on. In the end, make sure that you visit your dentist regularly.
